    It can happen at any stage of the bootup, not sure what you mean by the splash screen.

    Hi When my PC goes through the boot up sequence, i will at some stage of bootup get a message saying NO SIGNAL and the PC will start to reboot this can happen at any stage of the bootup sequence even has far has hearing the windows startup music.     To The Lad Thanks for your input, your advice got me into the computer as the Administrator, although i could not delete the user password it enabled me to save all my daughters music and photos. So now i can reformat and then reload them. Thanks Steve
