Ya, it happens so infrequently that it doesnt bother me, and the vm can still be accessed from outside. A restart every 2 months is fine. Were a small business so junking working hardware is out of the question for now. thanks for the reply.
Nevermind. I was originally misled about the password. I tried 2223772 and it let me right in. I found this as a reference:
