Like I said: "Poor Man's Solution".
We really don't feel like giving Avaya / VAR's any more money than we have to. If someone want's an automatic or "one button" solution, that's fine. Personally, I like finding ways of doing things other than what the book says.

Greetings All:
We recently started recording 50% of the calls to our call center on ramdom days for training & review. It was a bit tedious for our supervisors to listen the these recording on the system, so I found a poor man's way to save them to CD.
Just go to c:\Program Files\Avaya\IP...
Greetings All:
I've got the upgrade bug again and have been crusing eBay for motherboards/CPU's. Been noticing allot of 820 dual core CPU / D945 combo sales in the $250 range.
Anyone have history with this setup? And, why are there so many of these for sale? (some warehouse get robbed ;)...
Cool! It's infoserv_AT_pioneerfcu_._org. Presently this is the only site using a DSS. It's the main branch/admin building with 65 sets.
We're looking at moving our other branches (10 in all) to IPO's and setting up voice trunks to them via our existing frame-relay links. These are all 5 -...
Correct. We still have 3 analog lines that have not yet been disco'ed. If I force the system (an IP Office 406) to use one of those analog lines for the outgoing call, the "call-e" see that number just fine.
Greetings All:
We recently switched from numerous analog lines to an Advanced 2-way DSS (24 channels). The problem we're having is that now all outbound calls are showing up on the other end as "Out of area" or "No Caller ID".
Our local provider (Begins with "Q"), is telling us that they...
Greetings All:
We are looking at the IP Office system as one possibility to replace our aging Merlin Legend.
We are doing an expansion of our main office (Will need aprox 100 ext total) and will need the ability to do IP trunking to 10 branch offices in the future (Small Office Edition?)...
We're running the RC of WSUS. Very nice. I've got 10 branch offices over a wide area (300 miles end-to-end). It has a decent reporting feature to let you see which machines need which updates. The new version of the MBSA (not out yet) shuold integrate with WSUS.
O'Reilly books also has an Excellent volume called 'DNS on Windows Server 2003'. You can access it online at their web site. They have an on-line library that you can get a free 14 day trial. It really helpped me.

Greetings All:
So here's a ? about pointing to your ISP's DNS servers as forwarders. I'm setting up a new AD domain to migrate off an old NT domain. The new AD domain will be internal only (xyz.local) If I set the IP addresses for my ISP's DNS machines in forwarders section, and leave the...
