I have loaded my SB5.1 3 times and made it my default player. Everytime I play a music cd, windoze media starts up with the SB player. Just short of disabling auto play, is any way to unistall or disable the media trash player? Motorcycles@computers are the main stay of life rafales@alltel.net

I'm tring to set up a 120 gig raid on a epox 8K7Ar. The bios' is setup right, I just can't fdisk it. All I get is a 10 gig partion. I've a W98 and a Me boot disc.

You have a DDR CPU running at 200mhz, Change the bus jumper form 2100 to 266. And you will post out at 1000mhz. On the ECS bords the jumpers are right or the Ram slot,the default is 1-2 @2-3 change to 2-3 @1-2 that will give you 266 bus.

DDR Tbirds must use 133 ram. Your 1 gig runs @7.5x133. If you use pc100 ram you will only clock out at 750mhz. Get some good ram like kingston, spectek, nec or crucial. A good ideal when loading windose is using 128 for win98/me and 256 for w2k, after OS is loaded then you can add more ram...
I have Win98,Win2K,BeOS,& SUSE7.2 all runinng on the same system. The nice thing about my setup is NO boot loaders. Each OS has its own removable HDD. I had old 3&4 gig HDDs laying around, and removable bays run about $10.

I don't know what you poeple think, But there are virus's out there that DO physical damage. I know, The local competition gave me, ONE heck of a virus. It destroyed my boot sector on a 13gig HDD. I could run it as slave (fine) but, no low level or anyother format would restore the drive. I work...
