Can I know the geographic location from the IP address???
There is an application called NeoTrace available that does something like this. I am not entirely sure how accurate it is, but what it essentially does is a graphical trace route, and maps the nodes as it passes through them, according to information supplied by the provider. Domain name is and isn't not working!!!
It sounds as if you have have some DNS issues. A couple of questions... 1) Is this server part of a Window 2000 Domain? 2) Have you checked to ensure the IUSR_%SERVERNAME% account has access to the websites in question?- Phurious
