Thanks Dan ... I rectified the problem by adding a SMTP connector and using SMTP as oppossed to ESMTP. I did this because I noticed our Firewall filling up with logs and it was stripping some ESMTP headers which was making it impossible for my mail server to get along with the rest of the world...
