We have recently moved offices and at the firewall we noticed that there is an obscene amount of traffic to old IP addresses. I've set up a sniff on the firewall port and noticed that all of the traffic is snmp:
ser Datagram Protocol, Src Port: 1042 (1042), Dst Port: snmp (161).
We're an HP...
Is there a way to set default properties for each new document created in a domino user nsf? We would like to set the default behavior of 'Who can read this document' to only the user of the DB. It's prohibitive to perform this on each document and I can't find any settings through the client...
I recently came into the posession of 4 Aironet 350 bridges (not the workgroup bridges) and i was thinking about bridging my lan with the in-laws (down the street; not quite line of sight).
Just wondering if i could use my free equipment (a aironet 350) to bridge my lan with theirs.

There's a bunch, but for instance; space.scr is one. They come with MCEdition and they're legit windows screen savers. When launched under regular XP you get the following message:
The Space screen saver that is installed with Windows Digital Media Enhancements works only on Windows XP Media...
My buddy just got a new laptop and he's got these awesome screen savers but it seems they'll only work for MCEdition. I tried loading them into my system32 (on XP)but when i try to use one or configure it i get an error telling me i've got to have MCEd.
Is there a work around for this? These...
We have a problem with one of our users installing shareware apps on their workstation. The user uses the corporate Citrix system to run their work related apps. We figured we could browse the folders on his local drive (client c$) and look for problem software.

I don't want to map it so they can see the drive... that's set by default.
I want to map their drive so i can administer their local files. I've looked in AD, but this doesn't seem to be an option.
Just wondering if it was possible to browse a client's local disk from the terminal server. I think i grasp how it's done via RTP, but the ICA protocol seems a little different.
I've gone under the network neighborhood and expanded the Client Network, but it only lists clients on RTP sessions...

We've got two domino servers each on their own T1 pipe. Our MX records indicate that mail1 has a priority of 10 while mail2 has a priority of 50. We had an internal mail issue and decided to shutdown SMTP at the firewall to mail2. Things...

I'm running two citrix servers in my farm and users have been complaining lately of slowness and connection issues. In trying to trouble shoot whether the ISP pipe or the machines were the cause i took a look at my load managers and discovered that the one machine was doing page faults at an...
Hey guys. I'm kinda new to posting, but the advice i've seen to other people has been great.
At my company we've got a backup admin account set aside for some tape backup processes. We recently lost one of our head IT guys so we had to change sa passwords and the like. Just about all the bugs...
