I think I have it figured out! Thanks for the idea of the extension. It wasn't that but I have been asked to keep a version # visible on each one and at the end of the name is a V1.0 or V1.01 If I remove the .0 I don't have the problem.

If the file is saved with the quotes you can't find it when you want to re-open it. You have to manually go into the folder and open it there and some of the people here don't know how to do that. It shows as a text file but had the Excel extension.
When we do a file save as we remove them from the beginning of the path and at the end of the file name
Example: "C:\My Documents\APR Calculation.xls"
should be C:\My Documents\APR Calculation.xls
I have been using templates that I have done up and whenever I do a save as (workbook) it always puts a quotation mark at the beginning and end of the path & file name. It is very annoying and has to be manually removed.

Every time I go into page setup for any of my programs like Word, Excel, Adobe it comes up with this message. If you click OK a few times it will go away and you can continue, however with Adobe it brings up my browser window.
Anybody know what this means? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Is there any way to reverse a recovery done in XP? I can't access my files but the hard drive is indicating that the space is still in use. If anyone knows how to reverse the recovery or even get at my files I would really appreciate some help

All of a sudden this changed and I don't know how to fix it. Every time I print an email from Outlook Express it truncates the first letter of each line. What can I do to resolve this issue?

actually I have tried standard but finally used Unknown. I got them to work today with the help of support from the software company. It was their software that was causing the problem.
