    I have just DVD player software installed. It does'nt work thou,, until I do the 'Re-detect' first. (doesnt find drive) I get no errors in ANY Event logs. No system log errors of any kind.

    Installed new DVD/CD drive OK. (recognized and installs fine) LitOn LTC-48161H (combo dvd/cd-rw) But, on re-boot drive is not available. It IS in BIOS. It's NOT in device manager, or windows.
