We have a Windows 2003 Server w/ SP1. The server can ping and browse to websites on the local domain. However, external websites such as google, yahoo, etc. will not connect. DNS resolution is working properly. It just seems like the traffic is blocked. Windows firewall is not turned on...
We have been using IMF for a while now, and it succesfully blocks and archives messages with a UCE of 7 or above. We have it set to move messages with 6 or above to the users Junk E-mail folder. However, it is not moving any messages to the junk email folder.
Any thoughts?
I have two public folders with the same name, each with different email addresses. I want to delete the first one that I created, but it seems to be hidden somewhere. Is there a way to search in exchange to find it? Same folder name, just a different email address (one has a 2 at the end of it)
I want to create a public mail folder that users can email. When I create a new public folder with mail and post items, I can not see where to add the SMTP address. I also can not find a way to list this in the global address book.
Any help is appreciated.
I have created a public folder. I can send emails to it internally, but emails from outside addresses do not show up when sent to it (using the SMTP address I assigned it). Days later I will receive an "Undeliverable" message from my external email server. I gave anonymous contribution...
We are currently running Exchange 5.5 on one box and OWA 5.5 on another. We are going to be upgrading to Exchange 2003 and were wondering if we could keep our existing 5.5 OWA server running (if it's compatible) until we can retrain the users on OWA2003?
Hi, we are new to AD from NT4 to 2003. What settings do we need to configure to have user profiles roam? Also, say we want all users in a certain OU to have the same printers installed wherever they log in to the domain, is that possible?
We have a NT 4.0 server that is currently multi-processor. We want to archive the current system with Symantec Ghost to a single processor machine. However, if the image is restored to the single processor machine, a blue screen is shown at bootup stating a MPS and HAL.DLL error (I assume from...
I am trying to add a new public calendar. I can only add under an existing public calendar. I can not add a calendar at the top level under Public folders. Is there somewhere I am missing that permissions need to be changed?
Thanks,
Mike
Sorry if this seems like a strange question. We have a license for Exchange Server 5.5 and also exchange server 2000. We do not wish to upgrade exchange to 2000 at this time, but is it possible to run the 2000 version of OWA with 5.5 as the backend? Has anyone attempted this?
Thanks,
Mike
I am curious to know what the security risks are in putting OWA on the public side of our network? We would like to have users be able to access from outside our network, without the use of a VPN client. Is there any sort of encryption that takes place between the client side and the server...
We are using Exchange 5.5. The backup of our store is 6gb, whereas the individual mailboxes is nearly 11gb. If they are the same, why the difference in size?
