    Ok....in test I have an mixed 5.5 2K3 Exchange environment...during initial testing I just configured the backend 2K3 server for OWA with the forms based...cert...etc. I then implemented a FE server on the same network...I am unable to get to mailboxes.

    I have mixed 5.5 and Exch2K3 environment in test. I setup the backend server for OWA with SSL cert etc for testing. I then implemented a front end server, but I am unable to logon to a mailbox. I have the check mark set for this will be a front end server...the server is not in a DMZ... Any ideas?

    You probably have 10 per device licenses...you have to buy per user licenses if you change the mode.

    how many VPN appliances? Are they load balanced? Do they both have the correct ports open for Kerberos auth?

    look at the options in the remote desktop connection......under local resources uncheck printer...save as default.
