    Gigabyte GA-7S748-L Motherboard Problem!

The usb keyboard didn't work. I have the battery out now, going to leave it out about 45 mins and see if that helps. If not, I guess it's new motherboard time again! No more gigabytes for me, that's the 2nd one! It's not booting to the bios at all, I guess, so that's why it doesn't recognize...

    Gigabyte GA-7S748-L Motherboard Problem!

I have my plugs into a fairly good power strip, then into a multi-plug that goes onto the main plug. So I unplugged the multi-plug thing (after shutting off the pc and shutting off the power strip) and the phone cord from the wall. Working here at the ISP I have seen too many fried computers...

    Gigabyte GA-7S748-L Motherboard Problem!

I was hoping you wouldn't say that! I was on the internet when it started, and I thought I'd better go and start unplugging computers (I was working on 2 others at the time) and when I came back I had been kicked off the internet. I didn't notice any flashing of the electricity, so was hoping...

    Gigabyte GA-7S748-L Motherboard Problem!

Hi Guys! I haven't needed your expertise for a while, but now I am really screwed, me thinks! I had to replace my mobo last christmas, so I bought the GA-7S748-L Mobo/cpu (amd, 2400) combo from mwave. It has worked just great until this morning. Last night, I had unplugged everything because of...

    Yet another stupid question

Well, I found the place to plug it in and it still didn't work. When I press the power button, it feels "squishy." I couldn't get the front cover off without taking absolutely all of the cages out, so I just told her to take it to the Gateway store in Jacksonville. She hasn't come to...

    Yet another stupid question

Hey guys, just a quick question for you. I'm looking at a Gateway G6 400c which is not coming on. Power supply is on, when I plug it in and then I try to press the power button and nothing. Question is: What is the P8 plug for? It has a purple and black wire. Just wondering, coz it's not...

DVD DRIVE HANGS UP XP BOOT

I agree, bad dvd. A new system (cyberpower) purchased last year did the same thing with cdrw. I called them and they said check to make sure that the connectors didn't creep, that they're in all the way. Did that, didn't help. They said take it out send it back, they sent a new one, never had...

    Stupid Packard Bell question

I pulled the screws out an nothing budges. The little black feet are literally glued on. I did get the gray peice off in front which revealed screws holding the front together. (doh!) Took that off, still not going anywhere. I just wanted to see what kind of modem it was so that I could find...
