Crystal Ver 9.
Once you exported your report to Excel, select the text which you want to border. When you opened your Format Cells (speedkey = Control 1), select your line in the LINESTYLE first, and then to the left, add your borders. It worked for me.

Thank you so much. It worked 100%. This is the first forum where I found any replies to my requests at all. Im am not using a manual cross tab, but a insert cross tab report extracting from a Lotus Notes Domino database.
BUT,
I now have a different problem.
My report now looks like...
I did that too and it did'nt work. I am extracting from a Lotus Notes database and it only shows one client but when I add max and min it shows only two clients instead of all 4 clients.

I did not group any fields, nor added anything to the details section. It is purely a Cross Tab which looks like this:
