I think I tried downloading new drivers from Creative but I will check again. I think I'll try just letting Windows update do its thing and see if I get any missing pieces that way. This is a used computer, so who knows what it is missing.

Thanks, I looked it over last night and there is no onboard audio. Only jacks are on the Card I put in. An interesting point to mention is that I disabled the driver in Device Manager that had "16" as part of its file name(think it was labeled Soundblaster 16..." as a test and then rebooted...

Thanks for the tip. Yes the green speaker jack is plugged into the green "out to speaker" jack on the card. I tried a generic driver on another Sound card that I to no effect either.
