Can anyone help me with a really simple database I need a fair bit of information in it like names addresses date of birth, dates, monies paid, etc. I have used access but it was already set up and don't feel confident to set up from scratch. Mary

I have in excel some information set up and each month is on a seperate sheet within that document. I have changed one sheet and saved it and now when I go and look at the other sheets they have all been changed to that same one I changed originally. I have no idea what I did to cause this...

Yes that is right neither the sort function in records is highlighted nor the a-z buttons on the tool bar is highlighted Need to know how to activate them. In Forms it is fine.

The sort function button in tables is not highlighted and I cannot use it . It is ok in forms and is highlighted but not in tables. Is this a setup problem if so how to fix it.

I used to be able to sort a particular field in tables now when I go to records the sort function is not highlighted. Can anyone tell me how to activate this option also the ascending arrows at the top are not active in tables. The are in forms.

Thanks Joanne for your advice I don't know a lot of the information you asked for but I have deleted a lot of data going back to the years before. So I am hoping that might fix my problem. Mary

Yes Access is on the network. No one else seems to have this problem. At first I thought it might be the cables to the computer but now I'm not so sure. Because the last time it did it I got a blank screen on access and some of another program on the screen.
