I have a SQL SELECT statement that gives me a list of records. Some of them appear twice (or more) with the same ID. I tried the DISTINCT keyword, but then all the fields have to be the same. Here only the ID (and some other fields) are the same...
Is there another way of only seeing each ID...
When I try to install some programs the Windows installer starts normally, but after I few steps I get a screen:
"The wizard was interrupted before xxx could be completely installed."
So it's impossible to install these programs.
I already reinstalled the Windows installer...
We have a Windows 2000 server with ICS activated.
On the clients we get the IP nrs with DHCP, but we also fill in the DNS's of the ISP . On all the computers this works fine (we can get on the network, and surf the Internet), but on one (the only one with Windows XP) this doesn't work.

I try to make a filter in the Packet Filtering dialog box in Proxyserver 2 to open a FTP connection to a FTP server.
I tried a lot of combinations, but the only one that works is:
Direction = Both
Protocol = TCP
Local Port = Any
Remote Port = Any
Local Address = Any
Remote Address =...
As far as I can see, this is only possible when XP Pro is on a domanin, not as a standalone. Then the security is the same as the home edition...
Or am I overlooking something?

Is it possible in XP Pro, when not on a domain, to set the security as in W2K or NT. As far as I can see you can only open a folder to everyone (By dragging it to the Shared Document Folder) or make it Private.
You can't open a folder fe. Read for one user, R/W for another and full for yet...
Maybe you thought of it already, but anyway:
In Win2K you've got to set the permissions two times:
- once on the share (Normally you set Everyone - Full Access)
- Once on the Security tab (I think, I work on the Dutch version) here you set the real permissions...
