Hi!
I guess i'll check my CPU first if the heatsink is firmly attached and the fan is Ok. Then, i'll check if I have an ALi Mainboard, cause u have to install an AGP driver i think... I'll check my video card too, if its overclocked ....
Reinstallation from scratch might help =).
hey NEO81,
hmm...your board has both EDO and SDRAM memory slots in it, right? and during those days SDRAM chips were a lot higher in cost and a little bit scarce too.. Maybe your SDRAM slots have some kind of defect but u have no way of telling it until now. OR, shovel204 is right, some boards...
there must be jumper settings on your board...try setting it to 5.5 x 100 to get 550MHz...you might also have to adjust the vcore by .5....
However, I tried overclocking my K6-2 500s but couldn't reach 550... some AMD K6-2 chips just couldn't reach 550MHz.
hope i this helps..
Hmmmm... I know I experienced that problem somehow but as u said I know its intermittent... I would try installing NETBUI protocol cause i read somewhere it facilitates printing over network..
just a thought...
hey i have a faint monitor too. I had to adjust the video card's brightness and contrast settings to compensate for the monitor settings cause they're maxed out already... I'm planning to return it to my vendor. Its a 15" DTS Monitor.. (heard about that brand?)

the mx400 is faster than the standard MX and most mx400 i think include a fan. the standard MX and the MX/200 doesn't require a fan except of course u want to overclock it. I think Inno3D right with attaching a fan for stability purposes.
with regards to cooling, u could add a...

Hello..
Are you using VIA KT133 chipset? or some older chipset? have several boards from VIA with chipsets like KT133A, 693A & 694X (for intel), however, I'm using vidcards from NVdia.. no problems though..
i read about motherboard that hav AGP slots not driving enough power for the cards to...
Whoah! I guess this shows that once in a while we have to check if the fan cooling our CPU's is working fine, or just any other cooling fans inside our PCs.... I had experiences fans cooling my video cards die on me unexpectedly and left me wondering why my computers were having hang-ups and...
