unable to open a database
I had the same error - check your service pack. Upgrade to SP3 from office.microsoft.com and you will be able to get back into the database.- krantzkid

New Record field - top of form
So..in my frustration at trying to accomplish this same task of placing the new record at the *top* of a continuous form, i came up with a viable workaround, if you're interested.
