What I'm saying is your hard drive is too small !Sorry, but unless you plan on only doing small stuff, you're gonna need more than a 10 gig drive to get the most out of Win 2K. If you must , use at least 4 gig partition for op system.
You can't just move Win operating sys files out of the installed partition. You need much more than ,1 gig of space for Win 2K. I tried 7 b4 & found thatnear 8-10 is optimum because your temp files sometimes grow during certain instlls/ op downloads & this space is necessart to get the job done...
