Thank you, but this didn't quite work out. I'm adding 'yes' rows as I work down the column, and I did exactly as you indicated, even starting a new sheet with 'yes' in d3 and d5, but still got 0.

Hello - I'm trying to get a number value of rows with the word 'yes' in them. I'm sure this is very simple, but I'm just not getting it. I keep getting 0, and I did check previous questions, but I don't think I worded it correctly.

Hello - I've inserted some hyperlinks in an excel spreadsheet, but when I move or copy the spreadsheet to a different folder, the hyperlinks don't work - is there a way to rectify that?

I work in XP and have just updated to Office 2003, and have all the critical updates. Now my printers are disappearing and I get a Print Spooler error message.

a) Why this is happening, and

Thanks for responding dhulbert, but I already tried that and the font is as it should be. I've changed the style to black or automatic, but it just doesn't hold. I've deleted the normal.dot, to no avail.

I have a user with Outlook 2003 who gets an 'ivory' font colour on a white background, MS Word as the editor. I can't get rid of the yellow no matter what I do - I tried changing the styles, deleting normal.dot, but nothing holds. Does anyone have answers for this? It's only on that...
I've tried linney's suggestions and nothing seems to work. And to bcastner, no, it's not a remote pc, it's the same pc and this is the first time we've run into this problem.
