    2.0 SOE upgrade to3.2

Can I go straight to 2.1, or do I need an intermediary?

    2.0 SOE upgrade to3.2

Thanks for the reply. Neither upgrade.wiz or the manager can see the switch. I installed 2.1 which can see it fine, so the switch is OK.

    2.0 SOE upgrade to3.2

I need to upgrade an SOE running 2.0(17) to the latest 3.2 software. I have been told by tech support that this is just a straight through upgrade, there is no upgrade path. The problem I am having is that running 3.2(57) manager, I cant see the SOE, so cant upgrade it. Any help appreciated.

    Transfer calls to SIP trunk

The SIP idea is a definite no go, due to the reasons in Jamie's above post. I am going to set the IVR up as a IP end point, so basically it is an extension on the system, then routing all calls through to this extension. My concern is how many simultaneous calls the extension will be able to...

    4620 IP phone. No display

I know. He has been told off for buying it, it said untested on the description (thats MD's for you). £100 wasted at the moment.

    4620 IP phone. No display

Some one in our company though it would be a good idea to buy a 4620 IP phone off ebay (for a lot of money). It was delivered this morning, but unfortunately does not seem to be working. Basically when the phone is plugged in the speaker light flashes and the mute light stays on for approx 3...

    Transfer calls to SIP trunk

Hi Jamie. Thanks for the reply. The CLI is for the IPO>IVR. They take the CLI which they then translate to a physical address, for pickup. If no CLI is presented or it is a mobile number the call will then be transferred back to the 412. I have managed to find who they have got the IVR from...

    Transfer calls to SIP trunk

I am not getting much help off the IVR supplier. All I get off them is this works on our other solutions, but no info on these. One of the issues that I have is there is no CLI on the transfer which is needed by the IVR, and there seems to be no way of forwarding this. Have you any idea if...

    Transfer calls to SIP trunk

Update . I can call the 412 from x-lite now. Could this be some sort of compatibility issue between HMP and the Avaya SIP?

    Transfer calls to SIP trunk

Thanks for the reply Jamie. I have asked if they need another line to transfer the calls back, but seem to think they don't. At the moment I have one sip line, with the ivr ip address in the ITSP IP address field on the SIP line tab in manager. On the SIP URI tab I have 200 entered in the...

    Transfer calls to SIP trunk

We can transfer calls through to the IVR, but we are unable to send calls back to the 412. The IVR is being supplied by another company, so I dont have much info on it. I know it is using HMP for SIP. The info I have been able to get off the IVR company regarding the transfer is: 1. Dial...
