Yeah. I figured that, but what goes between the O/P port and the strike plate? What's the relay? What are the terminals on the Aiphone (if I were to go through that) ?
That's what I'm asking. I pulled the Aiphone off the wall and between the door and Aiphone there are relays. I tried...
Ok. I can see where I wasn't clear.
I want to open the door strike that the Aiphone currently opens with the O/P port.
But the O/P port puts out 48V DC (something like that. I dont have the docs here in front of me) and the door strike opens with a 11~16V AC current.
What typically goes...
I have an Aiphone LEM-1DL that I want to activate via IP Office's EXT O/P port.
Am I blind or is there no documentation on how to PHYSICALLY connect the IPO to the Aiphone?
There's talk of a "pre made cable" available, etc. but are there any part number for the wire, relayes, etc?
Dispensing...
I can default the config, but that's not going to default the PVM.
How do I default a PVM without going into the PVM (since I CAN'T get into the PVM?)

Oops!
Forgot to mention that.
The system has been power cycled. No change. :(

This one is weird...
Just started happening.
R6 w/ PVM small. If you go into a user's mailbox, it'll play that user's greeting, but no beep to leave message. Just about a five second pause and then "goodbye."
ANY of the four mailboxes do this!!!
So I ask the customer to transfer me into...
Whoa there!
ONLY use Avaya's barrier boxes?
What if the voltage of the box is rated at HIGHER than 81V? Like if you used an IROB or fuse for 235V clamping.
I have a similar situation and was going to implement a 66-block with a bunch of these fuses on it...
It doesn't post at all? The LCD stays blank?
Installing a driver isn't going to have that kind of impact on the system. The OS doesn't even begin to load until after the machine posts. And drivers don't load until after the kernel is loaded (and there's already be an IBM logo and then a...
Be suspect of the new RAM too.
Usually when I have reboot issues, it's RAM related. Try just one stick at a time to see if the problem goes away.

Make ISO images of the CD's (using a program like Nero, for example) and copy them to the drive???

That totally did not work for me. :)
Any other suggestions or did I do something wrong?

AAAAARGH!!!!!
Take the RAM BACK OUT!!!!
If you can't succeed in "stabilizing" the system with 512MB or less, putting in MORE RAM in a Windows 9x box is only going to make things worse!
How about this..... Install Windows 2000? ;)

Wait a minute... You have 768MB of RAM in a Windows 98 box?
Did you change the MaxFileCache size in your VCache entry in the WIN.INI to 524,288?

Thanks. That's what I thought, but I wanted to confirm that with someone that has more experience than me. I don't ever recall having this issue before. And here I was about to change their incoming call routes to -0218 so it would read left to right instead of right to left, but I didn't...
