    Seems to me you are trying to join a domain using the DC machine name instaed of the domain name

    The user on the client probably has administrative rights both locally and on the domain. You have to make sure this is not the case

    IIS 5.0 won't run ASP

    To run asp files you need to set up a virtual site in your MMC snap in for IIS - Right click default web site and select new -> virtual site. A wizard will guide you through the process. When this is done access the site in your browser as http://localhost/your virtual site name/xxx.asp
