I need to deploy the contents of a CAB file which are simply a DLL with an INF with regsvr info etc.
I created the MSI with these 2 files embedded but when I run it the desired results do not happen.
How do you package up a simple cab file correctly for distribution?

Thanks, I finally got it to go into romon mode and fixed without Cisco help. Youa re correct, their support rox when you need it. I'm now running happily ever after the trauma.
I issued a erase startup-config and now my router hangs at POST. Here is the sequence that caused my drama. I also issued relaod after the erase.

Users who have cable modems remotely and have a NAT address of 192.168.1.xxx cannot use the Cisco Windows VPN client to VPN in.
Users who have an assigned static public IP address, can.
That is my problem.

Thanx Geoff ... just a very basic VPN setup with the above mentioned hardware. No RADIUS, no keys.
It works great if you have a static IP on a dial up.
If you are behind a firewall, it does not work.
Wish I could give you more info buts its pretty much vanilla VPN.

We have the Cisco 3000 VPN concentrator and PIX 501 configured with a 2500.
I can do this easily with a Windows 2000 VPN server.
