    Simple solution, get to enable mode, do show run conf. Sellect all copy and paste in a word pad. You can copy paste it all over after. Joshua

    i dont understand why you are going through many cables, but a console cable will connect you to set chnanges, like allowing telnet and other settings. again a crossover cabl should serve in this case.

    if I am geting you right, the serial will still show the line protocol to be down coz there is no link with the other router.
