the AV is groupshield - both installed and updated at the same time. It would appear however that the fault roots with AV on the first node. We are going to move to symantec, so will keep you posted if the uninstall of groupshield solves it.......? Thanks for your input.

Yes, checked all that. Also checked that the store.exe upgraded correctly during SP1 install as apparently the AV product can inhibit it. But all fine......really struggling with this one.

Have you allowed permissions to the public folders in the Exchange System Manager? If not, got to the properties of the shared calender and assign rights to each of the users under the permissions tab. Hope this helps.
