I think MarkhP is right. For troubleshooting purposes, use the advance ofption and save the invitation into a file. You can open this file (using notepad) and look at the ip add being sent by your pc. It will contain your LAN IP address, which is not accessible from the dial up pc, unless he...

Hi, I just got in on my new job a few days ago, and one of my assignment was to maintain a 9 year old clipper program (it still runs, yes). However, it's now on the XP platform and the problem in the prog getting all the CPU resources is coming out. I've done some reading, and I am required...

    Windows 2000 Server Administrative Tools

Depending on your workstation (XP or Win2kpro), you should look for the adminpak file. I don't know why you can't find it. I just installed it for my Win2k Pro workstation before, and then downloaded the adminpak for 2003 when I upgraded to XP Pro. Check again your CD.

file attachment attachement vs inline attachment

Thanks smah. I'll try your suggestion. However, just some additional info. I asked UserA to send the same email to me, and I can see the attachment just fine. So what I did was to forward the same email to userB and it seems ok. I'm also using RTF format.

file attachment attachement vs inline attachment

Hi, When UserA sends emails with attachment to UserB and UserC, UserB receives the email with an in-line attachment (contents displayed on the email). UserC gets it as an attached file that he has to click before opening. UserB complains that it (in-line attachment) always happen everytime he...

    VPN connectivity

I have also tried it and I agree with the others that It's really very sloooooooowwwwww.... I ended up with data unfinished or incomplete transactions. Follow thet's advise to use a remote control program. You can use terminal server or better yet, try citrix.

set SQL to listen to multiple id address

Yes, that's what we normally do. But it's still better if we do not have to restart the service. What do you mean "hardcode" my IP. The IP add of the VPN is static.
