Hello, I have a pc in my office whose .pst file exceeded 2GB - i fixed this by running the scanpst.exe - ever since this happened the user has not been able to add appointments - it all goes through ok but the appointments aren't saved in the calendar - this is on office 2003 - i can't see why...

thanks for the info - we just use plain IDE - no raid solution - we are using a hi spec pc rather than a server grade machine which may well be a factor might be worth actually transferring all this over as I have a spare server lying around somewhere cheers

We are attempting connecting to the SQL database via an IP address. We do not connect via VPN to the network here before attempting to access the SQL server. The home machine's IP address has the same access rights set on the firewall as the external facing IP address here.
