I find it hard to believe that your MKSYSB tape can not be pre-tested at your DR site sometime before November. Have you explored the option of possibly having the tape pre-tested at one of your alternate DR sites?
But then again if you are looking to go beyond having just the MKSYSB restored...
Does the timeout setting presented above work with CDE sessions as well?
I set the logintimeout=15 ...... After 15 minutes I wasnt logged out, but rather the terminal was locked. How do I go about enabling auto log of a idle session?

When accessing the VNC server through any web browser I get the following message:
