I find it hard to believe that your MKSYSB tape can not be pre-tested at your DR site sometime before November. Have you explored the option of possibly having the tape pre-tested at one of your alternate DR sites?
But then again if you are looking to go beyond having just the MKSYSB restored...
Does the timeout setting presented above work with CDE sessions as well?
I set the logintimeout=15 ...... After 15 minutes I wasnt logged out, but rather the terminal was locked. How do I go about enabling auto log of a idle session?

I do however have a question regarding access via Web Broswer.
When accessing the VNC server through any web browser I get the following message:
"RFB 003.003"

I have installed VNC from the AIX Toolbox for Linux Applications CD.
After initial installation I was able to connect to the VNC server via web browser on my PC. However it was only displaying a vterm session, no CDE environment.
I stopped the VNCSERVER and restarted it and now I cannot...

Thanks for looking up that additional information! I agree that description in the manual was so ambiguous.
I will give it a shot. If it does not work out I will just get another motherboard that has more the 2 PCIE slots and has more then 4 SATA ports :-)

I am going to house the 5 x 320GB drives inside my system. I have a spare SATA Cage that I will use to hold the drives (http://www.icydock.com/product/mb455spf.html)....

The on-board SATA RAID controller has 4-Ports.
2 ports are being used for my Windows installation ( 2 x 80GB RAID-1)
So I have 2-Ports free on the on-board SATA...
