1.open the created report and from the report menu i compile the report . 2.check the appropriate folder for the compiled reports and try to open the crf file. 3.problem occurs

Though i made sure that the EXE,RPT,CRF files are in the same folder ,and recompiled the report without distribution,i still get the error as invalid report version.

The reports where being opened on the same machine it was compiled.

Though i have created the report in version 8 i am trying to compile using the distribution expert. but when i try to open the exe,i get this message as invalid report version. Why? Thanks in advance
