How about the UNIX agent? If you set it up to do Diffs, would it backup as Full? You're saying only Linux agents can perform differential\Inc backups? Thanks Faz786

Being a UNIX novice, can you tell me whether we can perform UNIX differential backups using Arcserve v11.5? In addtion, can you mix the unix and Windows backups and perform daily differential and weekly full backups? Thanks in advance Not tested yet. FaZ786

Licensing on DR option v11.5 - Can you please tell me if you have 8 Windows Clients. Firstly, You are required to install the DR option on the backup host. However, if you want to utilise this option on 8 windows clients, how many licenses are required, one or 8? Thanks Faz786

Hi, We have 11.1 currently installed with 11.1 client agents. Can you tell me if we want to upgrade to 11.5, can we use the same license keys? Can we upgrade to 11.5? Can we get 11.5 license keys for free if we cannot use 11.1 keys? Please advise?

Nothing done between reboots

We have restored the sysetm using ghost followed by applying the C drive backup and registry(config folder using CA document 16046(overwritng the system). It results in a successful restore, a reboot is done OK followed by a second reboot. This results in a Page fault error during the OS loader...

Issue:- I am backing data to disk, including Oracle using the online agent. The backup and restore of Oracle is working fine except the restore of the system datafile. The system datafile restore fails whilst it is restoring(10% gets restored), however the restore of this datafile works fine...
