But how can you specify final destination port(whether it be 1600,300,25 etc)in a packet if you must specify port 1080 of a proxy server as a destination port of a packet?
hi
I know there are lots of public proxies(Http, ftp, smtp)but are there proxies that can forward packets to more then just one destination port(not the destination port of proxy server but of the final host)?
If for example I had two apps, one trying to connect to host with destination port 160...
IIt turns out it was a dead link.I created a link to /etc/rc.d/init.d/xinetd,but the file wasn't there.Somehow the script got deleted(have no idea how)
But then why aren't the other symbolic links(the ones I didn't create and are located in /etc/rc.d/init.d/rc3.d directory) that point to scripts files ,red colored and pulsating?
hi
When I create symbolic link to a script file and then issue 'ls' command, the name of a link is displayed in red color and is pulsing. In contrast,if I create a link to normal file, the name of a link is not pulsing and is of color cyan
what am I doing wrong?
thank you

If you want to run Telnet server, and allow remote users to login, where and how must you specify for telnet to allow
REMOTE logins?
I assume REMOTE logins are not allowed by default cos I can't login from one PC...
It turned out that A type records have to be at the beginning of the line.Does this rule vary from one bind version to another?Where on internet can I find the rules as to where in line I have to place different types of records?
