That would work OK if I was able to use SEPARATE ARS tables, but that would involve location numbers.
I think that I have a solution anyway, using my partition route table: If someone from my new office dials a 7-digit number, ARS will use the partition index, and a different route will be...
Here is the problem:
We are adding a location in a separate area code, but will use IP phones (so they are on the same switch.) We are also bringing in trunking via t1 over our network, from that same foreign NPA.
So, the trunking will look like a local trunk, and can be routed accordingly in...
Phoneman2:
Sorry, I should have been more clear.
The steps occur later in the vector, and the one in question is:
route-to number 4832 with cov n if unconditionally
Now, when the route-to step occurs, we are leaving the vector and headed to the hunt-group (ext. 4832) Until the IVR...
Is it possible to disable the ringback a caller hears when being sent to a hunt group extension (or any extension) from a vector route-to step?
This is a Definity Rel. 11 switch, and the hunt group is for our IVR (which is a group of analog extensions).
We would like for the transition from the...
Right, I forgot about the ranges in Intuity -- I'm not up to speed on Audix I'm afraid. Anyway, the forwarded-off-net lobby phone is a problem, but much less exposure with that scenario than transferring from the Intuity directly.
Thanks again!
Thanks, Chris. That does help. I suppose that would be a security risk, but I wonder if there would be a way to restrict the Intuity to dialing only 4-digit extensions, for example, in the Definity, say through COR or some other method, so that no one could request a transfer to an outside...
The problem is: how to use the Intuity Audix auto-attendant to answer calls, but to be able to allow a caller to transfer to an extension without an Audix Mailbox. This is a problem, because many of our users don't require a mailbox, yet I always need to set one up to allow a caller to...
