Hello guys!
I've got a site where we are currently installing an IPO500 with 20 IP Users. The client would ideally like to intergrate the IPO500 with Sage200 such that users can click to dial via TAPI and have screenpop for inbound calls.
I've never looked into this before so I'm not sure what...
Hi Guys.
I've got a customer with quite an odd requirement. The customer would basically like users to answer calls ringing on their phones, but the mic to go on Mute when calls are answered. He would like users to manually unmute the mic everytime they answer a call. i guess the requirement is...
Hi Guys.
We've got an Avaya IPO500 with 70 x IP Extensions. The kit also has 1 x PRI30 and an 8-port analogue extension card with fax machines plugged into all the extensions. 3 of the analogue ports seem to have developed a fault recently whereby the fax machines would not release the line. I...
PRI configured as QSIG B, Siemen's acting as Master.
Channels set to 30.
No changes to settings on trunk side have occured since installation.
The only change we've had is the PRI hardware.
Thanks tlpeter.
That's what I was thinking that SSA is just dropping fake alarms, however users have complained of not being able to seize trunks.
Hence, it isn't a fake alarm as it is affecting calls, both inbound and outbound!
Hi Guys.
Thanks for your replies. I agree with tlpeter on the licensing. The 4 voice networking license enables the QSig sharing. After that concurrency is decided by the number of channels opened on the PRI board.
Either way, we have 1 x 4 Voice Networking Trial (Still valid) plus 1 x 4 Voice...
Hi Guys.
I've got a site running an Avaya IPO500 V2 with QSig trunks linked back to a Siemens kit.
We've had the Avaya IP extensions making and receiving calls over ISDN30 trunks installed on the Siemens.
Hardware Profile:
1 x Avaya IPO500 V2
1 x PRI Board
1 x VCM64
1 x 8 port Analogue Ext

Hi Guys.
I'm working on networking an IPOffice 500 V2 kit with a Siemens Hipath 4000 using Qsig protocol.
We've managed to establish calls from IPO500 going into the Siemens - ring correctly with two-way speech. However calls originating from the Siemens into the IPO500 do not work.
Running...
Thanks for the information guys.
Just wondering whether licenses from Switch A will temporarily work on Switch B for the phones to register and continue working in fallback mode.
Or is there a requirement for us to provide for extra licenses on Switch B for redundacy purposes?
Hi Guys.
Thanks for your comments.
How does the fallback information get passed to the IP Phones if switch A wasn't powered?
We're looking at hardware failure at Switch A rather then trunk failure. I would assume that for trunk failure, switch A will re-direct traffic via trunks on switch B...
Hello.
Thanks for your reply.
Just wondering how this would happen. I'm considering a scenario where switch A and B are connected using SCN. If switch A lost power, how would IP Phones connected to switch A know where switch B is sitting along with its IP Address?
Thanks!
Hi Guys.
Apologies if I haven't looked enough on the forum, but I couldn't find much information on this.
We have a potential project where the customer is looking into the possibility of two remote sites linked together using SCN.
Each site will have IP Phones and ISDN30 trunks. As an added...
