Hi all, in a folder i have 10 powerpoint files and i would like to ouput the 10 powerpoint files name into a file like notepad- e.g ABC1.ppt, ABC2.ppt, ABC3.ppt. Is there an freeware application,script or any method i can use to do this? sorry i am not good with programming. Much thanks all!

hi all, is it possible to query your hp box for serial number of parts eg: hard disk, RAM etc. Whenever i get a faulty part, HP support always ask for serial numbers and i do not have an inventory for the parts. how can i get this without of physically opening the box. thanks!

hey all, i have 50 depot files in hp-ux which need to be installed but i do not want to use swinstall command in gui as it would take a long time to install all 50files. how can this be done easier? please advice.

hei gurus, i am very new to linux. i have just installed red hat linux AS2.1 but after the installation, it did not detect the network card or so i think. it is mentioned that the network driver is in /dev/eth but when i go to /dev directory..i can find the eth file. btw, i am using Dell Power...

The file size was over 4Gb and using thumbdrive would take up time. i managed to do it but i initially had to set up a "guest" account in the machine running Win XP Proffessional and then log into that machine using that account. Thanks again guys for ya assitance.
