Hey guys,I have a dell inspiron 5000E laptop.Lately it has been shutting down for absolutely no reason.One second it's on,the next second it's off.I also have a fan in the back of the laptop that only goes on for 3 seconds when I start it up. I hope I've provided enough info.

I loaded XP but did not unload the previous version of windows 2000. Is there away to remove windows 2000 without formatting the entire drive. I have HD space issues. Thanks in advance

Thanks vacunita, I found what I think is the correct driver and extracted it to the hard drive but I have NO idea how to apply it so the pc recognizes it. Any pointers would be much appreciated. Thanks

I have loaded XP on 2 desktops at home and both times the pc did not recognize an ethernet card or sound card. I am doing a complete reload and deleting all on the hard drive. Anyone have any idea why these device are not recognized? Thanks
