L2L VPN tunnel. The checkpoint on the other end is doing deep packet inspection (using smart defense) and determining that the traffic is not being natted correctly, therefore blocking the outbound traffic because it might be a reverse route poisoning attack.
I.e.:

Is this possible? if so, can someone point me in the right direction, i'm somewhat stuck with the DNS section, it's not doing what I want it to do.
My ultimate goal is to simply deny specific bandwidth hog host names as I find them by giving them an entry in the hosts file
i.e.

What does the software publisher recommend for server requirements for X amount of users? Because if you meet the specs for 10 users, and you are slowing down at 5, there maybe a technical issue that needs to be resolved instead of throwing money at it.
Any tips on securely publishing an internet explorer app so that a user is directed to a specific internal webserver and an activex application is loaded and used? Is there anyway to restrict the user from ONLY being able to browse to that IP address?
I'd rather the 2 users we have for this app...
I've seen this problem happen for some of our users that remote out to other TS locations not controlled by us. Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but just an FYI, you are not the only person that has this issue.
Is there a way to force a client to report it's status to the WSUS server? I'm not seeing any warnings or fatals in the log files on the clients so I'm not sure why they are not reporting to the WSUS server.
I was forcing the update locally and it was still not applying. However, last night I created a new test pool of 3 XPSP2 machines and 2 Win2ksp4 machines and now this morning they are all reporting to the Wsus tool after rebooting them last night. I did not have to remove/add them to the domain...
I've got WSUS up and running, however it's really hit or miss when I add a PC on the network to the GPO for WSUS. Some machines (2k sp4/XPSP1/XPSP2) will take it right off the bat and work fine, some machines require being removed from the domain and re-added. For testing purposes I setup 6 PC's...
Are you using Premium for workgroups? If so you can use the network sync tool to publish the database on the network, otherwise you have to leave the database open in ACT in order to sync with it.
Anyway to use the SYNC service without ACT's application to specify the database to sync with? I really want to run the service without having any user logged in (for obvious reasons). There needs to be a way to do this since it practically negates the purpose of having a service in the first place.
Another follow up to this issue:
I found that the above hotfix had already been applied. There are two other applicable hotfixes that I believe are required in this situation, you can find them here:
