I think the problem I have is that for some reason I am not getting the picture into the gPict field of the DBF File.
I am now trying to upgrade to CR Ver. XI and try that version.

I am trying to store images in a DBF file and then show them on a detail line of Crystal report.
I am using VFP 8 & Crystal Report Dev. 9
I take these steps:
Select MyFile
Appe General gPict from c:\MyPict.jpg
Then in crystal report I place this field "gPict" on the crystal report...
Yes in the same office, the same clipper program did run ok on another computer with XP. There must be something wrong or corrupted on the Operating system. I will try reinstalling the XP.

We can get into the command prompt by typing 'CMD' in START -> RUN ...
as we are in the command prompt when we type in EDIT, it will not run the edit program and instead it gives us the error message. The fact is that it does not even load the clipper compiled program. The operating system says...

On a computer with XP operation system the compiled clipper program was running fine, something has changed and now it says "System not suitable to run Dos"
