windows me scandisk
I'm having the same problem. I'm on a Dell Inspiron 8000, and defragged the hd the other night. The next time I booted it up after it was done, scandisk popped up with 'improper shutdown detected'...the thing is, it doesn't ever /finish/. A couple of times I've stopped it, made sure...- cathteg
