I am having problems with samba 3.0.1 on a Solaris 2.6 box. This box has no previous samba versions installed.
When I try to configure samba I get an error.
# cd samba-3.0.1/source
# ./configure –with-ads 2>&1 |tree config.new.log
fails with the following error:-
checking for LDAP...

I have found something that says in may have something to do with the configuration of /etc/pam.conf
Will look further tomorrow.
Does anyone know how to kill the screen lock in Solaris. We have a number of users that when their screen locks cannot get back in due to NIS not recognising their password. Is there a way to terminate the screen lock without having to kill their dtsessions.
