    agp dual head card problem

A glimmer of light... I changed graphics aperture size to 32Mb from 64Mb and I now get a wrong colour image out of one of the heads. There is another setting vga shared memory size that I could change. The other thing that I changed was primary vga bios from on board to agp vga card. Thanks, Matt.

    agp dual head card problem

Yes and yes. Is there a way to tell if the agp slot is actually enabled at all? Should I see it in device manager. When I first had the problem I assumed that it was the card and got another one so I think I can rule that out. Thanks for your help. Matt.

    agp dual head card problem

Hi, Thanks for that reply. The mother board is an ASUS A7N266-VM. I have found the on board/agp selector in the bios. Unfortunately when I select agp I can't see anything on the screen! Any other suggestions more than welcome! Matt.

    agp dual head card problem

Hi, I am having a problem with an agp dual head card (matrox). My pc doesn't seem to notice it. The driver installer doesn't see it either. This is the first time that I have plugged anything into the agp slot. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Matt.

problem installing usb 2.0 pci card

Thanks for your help. I think I did all that to no avail. I now have a rather chaotic scene in my device manager. If you are fed up then let me know and I can give up. I could insert a screen shot of it if I knew how. Is there a way to insert a picture into a post? Thanks again, Matt.

Thanks for that. Following the links, I need to disable the onboard USB 1.1 controller in the PCs BIOS. Could you tell me how to do that? Thanks in advance, Matt.

problem installing usb 2.0 pci card

The box says supports 1.5/12/480Mbps. The shop is a good one. The pc sees it as a via usb enhanced host controller. I have service pack 2 and current hotfixes. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help. Matt.

problem installing usb 2.0 pci card

Hi, I am having installing a generic usb 2.0 pci card. I have windows xp pro. When I install it, it insists that it can find the best drivers, even when I point it in the direction of the supplied drivers on the cd. The installation programme on the cd does not seem to work. When I plug...

    On board sound problem

Hi, I recently re-installed XP pro. I had my usb phone handset plugged in and I think that this is why it doesn't see my onboard sound (it may not be). I have re-installed before with no problems that I can remember. Is there a way to solve this? Thanks in advance, Matt.
