So a core 2 duo is the same as the x2 dual core. One is Intel and one is AMD. However a core duo is different then a core 2 duo...right. How does a core duo compare to an x2 dual core? Is there a big difference between the 32 and 64 bit?

I purchased a laptop from Officemax (Averatec 2370) and it appears they are not getting anymore of these in. They then told me that they were replacing this item with a Everex SA2050T. I have never heard of this manufacture. Has any one heard of them and are they a good brand?
