Anyone know what could be causing this? Whenever i try to link tables via an ODBC data source, i get an error that says "The Visual Basic for Applications project in the database is corrupt."
Access seems to function fine otherwise. Any ideas??
We are debating the pros and cons of giving users Admin rights on the desktop machines. I have been assigned to researching the benefits of doing this, and am coming up short, so i'm looking for experiences any of you have regarding this issue. Anything you can give will help greatly! Thanks...
Ya, i've tried the importing to a new database thing, and it says i dont have rights to import/view the module. The strange thing is i can view one of them, its just the other 3 with the <unknown> owner, i cant do anything with.
:( Thanks for the info.
Yep, its 97. I do have the .mdw for the database, but i dont have the username/password combo. He has since left, and i dont have any documentation.. Is there anything i can do??
How can i change the owner of a module if it doesnt let me change it if i am the admin user? It says <unknown> in the owner box, and it wont let me change it. It says i need to have administer rights on it to change the owner. Any ideas?
Well, i got it working pretty well. Now i just need to test if the field is there or not. I noticed that lbigk said i could use .fieldname to test if it is there or not, so i will look into that. Thanks for your help so far!

How can i programatically check to see if a certain table has a specific field, and if it doesnt, add the field to the table? The field isnt going to have any relationships or indexes, so i'm hoping it will be simple. Thanks for any help.

The pdf printer driver is interesting. Do you need to have the PDF writer program to get the printer driver, or is there a plugin or something i could use without purchasing the PDF writer?

Hmm, ya i played around with it yesterday and couldn't figure out how to get the images to transfer either. I'll have to explore more.
That's too bad about the BHG. Your plans sound interesting! Or you could pick up an MKIV and not worry about the BHG issue anymore.. :)
Anyway, thanks for...
Thanks for getting me started! That worked, except it didnt grab the images on the report. Any other ideas?
PS: Im an MKIV owner. :) Nice to see a fellow supra owner other places than supraforums.
Is it possible to use an Application.path type string to find linked tables? What my problem is, is if a user installs the application in a folder other than the default, i get an error because the linked tables arent in the path that it is looking for. Anyone have any idea?
Thanks!
