still have the same probs... can ping server LAN address of the server only tried the other solutions...but they still did not see to work.. IP address of server is 10.0.0.15, mask 255.255.255.0 dg 10.0.0.18.. cannot ping the gateway address either...

thanks guys.. will try wins.. in terms of authetication, i am authenticated by the server but cannot map drives or see any shared resources on the server.. when dialling in when i type net view.. i get back error 6118.. cheers..

ps.. I can ping the server LAN address but not any other machines on the network when i dial in.

Hi guys.. got a problem .. I have set up RRAS on windows 2000 server. Using the normal protocols etc.. whenever i dial in to the server, i am authenticated by the server, but cannot see anything beyond that.. i cannot see anything on the network or view any of the shared folders... can anyone...
