Passing a flash variable from a flash.swf?var=this to itself.

Passing a flash variable from a flash.swf?var=this to itself.

Hello,

I am trying to pass variables as shown below to the same swf file.

Here is the pertinent part of the parameters in the html code that points to the flash file, where in this instance would be the same as the one referenced below.

CODE

<embed src="NS7.swf?colorsheme=green" loop="false" quality="high" bgcolor="#ffffff" width="676" height="144" name="NS7" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" />

What I haven't figured out is how to bring those variables in so I can do an

if (colorscheme==green) {
GotoandPlay(this)
}

How do I call upon those varaibles?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Passing a flash variable from a flash.swf?var=this to itself.

CODE

// first frame...
stop();
if (_level0.colorscheme == green) {
    gotoAndPlay("frame_label")
}else{
    //do something else...
}
