RE: Excel Button Disable

You'll have to edit the Windows registry to make it look like you have an older version of Excel.  Always use caution when editing the registry and back it up first.

In HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Excel.Application\CurVer change Excel.Application.10 to Excel.Application.9.  Also change HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Excel.Application.10 to ...Application.9.

This is what we were told to do to make it work with Excel 2002.  Yours may say version 11 instead of 10 since you're using 2003.

Work Exelent now!!!

RE: Excel Button Disable

Do you think that could make it work with OpenOffice.Org?  OpenOffice opens excel docs perfectly, but PT won't export to it.

RE: Excel Button Disable

Good question, I kind of doubt it'd work but there may be a way.  I have no idea where to begin on that though.  I guess you could start by putting those entries in your registry to see what happens, but I suspect PT specifically needs Excel.
