Using Homesite 5.5, when I start typing <cf I should get a drop down of all the tags available...I don't.  What gives?

RE: Tag Insight

Are you typing in the string "<cf"? If you enter a second character too quickly after the angle bracket, the droplist is bypassed. Enter the angle bracket and allow the droplist to open; then type "cf". You should be taken to the cf... portion of the list.

RE: Tag Insight

I can scroll down the droplist and there aren't any cf tags at all to choose from.  They're missing.

RE: Tag Insight

I can't be real helpful because I'm no expert here. I just use  HomeSite+ as a tool for editing asp-like pages in Crystal Enterprise. But there do seem to be several options in the Options/Settings dialogs. Do a Help/Search on "tag insight" for some topics that discuss a Tag Definition File that may be corrupted or missing, or maybe you need to add it to get the CF tags.

Options/Settings/Editor:Tag Insight is the dialog where the individual tag definitions appear. Options/Settings/Validation and Options/Settings/Tag Definitions Library may also be related to which tags appear in the list.

Beyond that, I don't know what to suggest. Unfortunately, this is a very low-traffic forum, as the thread dates will attest.
