Your Assistant 3.0

We have a Mitel 3300 switch and about 60 extensions.  I am tring to roll out Your Assistant V3.03 and i am having extreme dificulties.  The server aplication installed OK, all the services are running and it is correctly licensed.  I can add users to the server OK and when i add a user it correctly changes alocates 1 seat and the user apears in the licensed users section.  However i cannot get the client aplication to work at all.  I have installed it on two PCs which both fail to work in different ways.

The first one gets as far as the "handle calls using" dialog, when i select deskphone (the only option available as i do not have any softphone licenses) i then proceeds as far as Initialising Call Frawrding Policies and i then get the following error

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
   at NewHeights.BootStrapper.BootManager.Boot()
   at NewHeights.YA3.MainClass.Init(NameValueCollection yaSettings)

This happens even if i tick the work offline box.

On the second PC it only gets as far as attempting to license user domain/username when it gives me the following error

Initialization Error

Your Assistant is unable to connect to the Your Assistant Server. The server address given was 192.168.1.5 on port 2114 and may be incorrect. Please contact your system administrator.

I have done a port scan and the PC in question and i can see port 2114 on the server 192.168.1.5 and it is open and it is the correct server that YA is running on.

Can anyone shed any light on these problems as the mitel site is pretty much useless.

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I think this is a .net issue
Download Microsoft Hotfix for .NET 1.1.

Cant help with the 2nd fault, never seen that before

Did you get to the bottom of your problem with the error message

Your Assistant is unable to connect to the Your Assistant Server. The server address given was 192.168.1.5 on port 2114 and may be incorrect. Please contact your system administrator.

If so I would be greatful for the solution as I am experiencing the exact same problem only on certain pc's though.

Hi 192.168.1.5 is the correct address and the port is 2114 and i am the system administrator.  However this probelm just seemed to fix it's self.  The other problem however was more tricky, and it was solved by the company that installed the mitel in the first place, it was something to do with TAPI and class of restriction settings on the 3300 switch.

RE: Your Assistant 3.0

Strange I have re-installed the tapi software and YApro but still have this constant error I have managed to get 3 PC's working thats it all the others get this same error message I have checked the installed software on each and they all match with the working PC's.
