How To re-assign control points from a bone -answer

How To re-assign control points from a bone -answer

I figured out how to deselect contol points from bones and re-assign them to others - by experimentation!! -I found the text help and the tutorial 13 to be very help-less and very frustrating. I just wanted to be able to type "deselect control points from bones" or re-assign control points to bones" in the help menue and get the following steps: - why are they making the documentation so esoteric? I'm finding AM to be a great program but the Doc support is very lacking. Come on Guys!
To re-assign control points to bone:
 1) Deselect control points from their current bone:
 a) Go to Bone mode by clicking the bone Icon.
 b) Click on any bone to see the current assignment of Control Points blink yellow.
 b) Make sure you are in edit mode by clicking the edit
mode Icon and then don't select any bones.
 c) Click&drag the group mode icon over the control points you want to remove from bones (as you drag you see a black dashed square forming & when you release the mouse the control points turn to black - now not assigned to any bones)
 2) Re-assign control points to selected bones
 a) Now while still in edit mode select a bone by clicking on it then do shift click over each control point you want to add to the selected bone (you see the color of the control point change from black to the color of the selected bone) Or you can use the group mode or lasso mode tools to do a bunch of control points at the same time.
This is by no means exhaustive - but it is a specific and DIRECTED help answer - I wish I could have found it in the help files or the user manual- rather than through experimentation!.
